Mark works closely with Strategic Benefit Advisor's clients to understand their business processes and objectives — enabling him to develop health and welfare benefit strategies that meet their unique challenges.
Mark began his career as a group underwriter at Hartford Life Insurance Company. In 1987, he joined Mercer’s Boston Health and Group practice as a Consulting Analyst, working his way to a leadership position in the practice. In 2002, Mark co-founded Strategic Benefit Advisors with Michael Deneen. Together, Mike and Mark have grown Strategic Benefit Advisors into a formidable Health and Group Consulting practice in the Boston area.
Mark frequently addresses business and professional groups on health care and cost management topics, and has been quoted numerous times in local media. He is also a Director and active member of the New England Employee Benefits Council.
Outside of Strategic Benefit Advisors, Mark spends considerable time volunteering in his community. Mark is active in local government in Hopkinton, where he lives with his wife and children, and was recently appointed a Corporator for Milford Regional Medical Center by its Board of Trustees.
Mark received a B.A. in Economics from Bates College.
