Chris Kardos


Chris has 20 years of experience in the health insurance and benefits consulting fields. His areas of expertise include total benefits strategy development, health benefit design and financing, retiree health strategy and design, and evaluation of private health exchange solutions.

Chris manages several large client relationships and is a key player in developing and executing Strategic Benefit Advisor’s client growth strategy. Over the course of his consulting career, Chris has worked with a diverse group of industries including higher education, health care, financial services, insurance, and hospitality.

Prior to his current role at Strategic Benefit Advisors, Chris spent 14 years at Hewitt, most recently as a Principal and Senior Vice President in its Health and Benefits practice. Chris began his career in MassMutual’s group life and health business, followed by two years at Cigna as a financial underwriter.

Chris graduated from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship with a dual degree in History and Anthropology. He resides in Northborough, and enjoys running, tennis, golf, cooking, and playing with his four children.
